Merry Christmas 2008 Happy New Year 2009

Filed under: Christmas Newsletters — by marybill @ 12:19 pm

Greetings and Merry Christmas 2008. At this time of anticipation of Hope for the World, we send our best wishes for a joyous holiday season. May we all count our blessings and share what we have with those whose blessings are fewer. We cherish our relationship with you and enjoy the times we get together.

We just finished our volunteer assignment in Cleveland, spent Thanksgiving with our son and family, and are glad to be at our home in North Carolina.  Right after Christmas we will travel to Texas to be with our daughter and family for a few weeks, then back to NC for arrival of grandchild number 5, a Baby Ruth boy, on January 26.

It looks like our next volunteer placement will be in Connecticut for several months in 2009 at Silver Lake Conference Center in Sharon.  http://silverlake.ctucc.org/

Do stay in touch!  Let us know how you and your family are doing.  What holiday plans do you have?

Wishing you a Happy New Year 2009,

Mary and Bill

PS Since we already know you are ‘with us’ in this electronic age, we want you to enjoy this e-card as much as one ‘snail mailed’ to you other years.  This is THE card from us this year and you’ve just read THE newsletter (above) since you’ve already received our updates/newsletters (Feb/Apr/Jul/Oct) throughout the year.  If you missed any of those, you can read them here on this BLOG under updates.
